Chapter Officers

Morgan Gardner

President

As Chapter President I oversee the overall operation of the Delta Omicron chapter. I preside over all meetings of the chapter and chapter council and communicate expectations of officers and individual members. I serve as a liaison to the Fraternity, the campus and the public. Most importantly, I serve as a role model to the chapter by representing the values of our chapter and the Fraternity to others on campus and in the community. Please feel free to reach out to me regarding any questions about Kappa at Iowa State.

Veronika Larson

Vice President of Standards

Vice President of Standards is responsible for the maintenance of Fraternity standards and policies. This includes educating the chapter about the role of the standards committee as well as addressing any violations of the Fraternity Bylaws, Standing Rules, and Policies for the best interest of the individual and the chapter. The Vice President of Standards promotes unity and sisterhood through planning sisterhood activities and various moral boosting activities throughout the year.

Grace Edwards

Vice President of Organization

As Vice President of Organization, my job is to oversee chapter organization by implementing the chapter strategic plan and coordinating committees. I plan leadership development and officer training, along with making arrangements for all fraternity visitors. VPO also plays a big role in the communication aspect of the chapter through submitting monthly calendars and sending out weekly updates containing all of the chapter functions.

Katie Noonan

Vice President of Academic Excellence

As Vice President of Academic Excellence, I have the opportunity to help our members reach scholastic success and find their unique interests. My committee and I work with members on a one-on-one basis as well as create engaging programs for the chapter as a whole. Our overarching goal is for every Kappa to lean further into their individual interests with total engagement and compassion. I feel honored to be a part of a community of women who are so committed to their education and look forward to the continual success of "Kappademics."

As House Manager I am responsible for assuring all members follow the Delta Omicron house rules and policies. I am also in charge of rooming assignments and parking assignments every semester. Mostly I am here for women to come to when they have a question about our house and to make them feel at home!

Zoe Tressel

New Member Educator

My goal as Delta Omicron's New Member Educator is to make each woman who joins our chapter fall in love with Kappa as much as I have. I hold weekly meetings with the New Members in order to familiarize our women with the chapter's values, history, and the role of each Chapter Officer. Essentially, I'm here to make each woman's transition into Kappa Kappa Gamma and Iowa State University as smooth as possible! I also have the opportunity to plan Bid Day, Fall Sisterhood, Big Little Reveal, and the New Member Retreat. Overall, I strive to be a positive influence to our New Members as well as their "go to girl" for anything they may need. I can't wait to meet the new pledge class of 2016!
